Students are invited to submit original logo designs for our school’s largest fundraising event of the year. The winning logo design will be featured on t-shirts, banners, programs, invitations, and other promotional materials related to the event. Auction Chairpersons, Principal Tom Waszak, Julie DeClos, our after school Art Instructor, and St. Francis Communications Coordinator, Allison Clewett, will select the winning design.
All submissions will be included in an Art Exhibit on Campus the first week of June and semi-finalists will be part of an Artists’ Spotlight display in the St. Francis front office throughout the summer.
Contest rules are simple: Just draw and color your idea of what the Moonlight Masquerade looks like on a piece of 8 ½ x 11 in. paper. You can use bright markers, colored pencils or crayons, but no embellishments like glitter, buttons or paint. Digital entries will also be accepted.
Write your name, age, classroom, parent’s name and phone number on the back. Put your entry in a large envelope (please don’t fold it) and turn it in the the front office or mail to: Auction Logo Contest c/o St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, 5330 Eastside Circle, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. The deadline for entries is Friday, May 27 at 3:30 pm. We will not be able to return any of the artwork. The winning design will be announced on Friday, June 3 at our school-wide Community Prayer Service at 8:30 am.
