Reading aloud to children has been shown to improve reading, writing and communication skills, logical thinking and concentration, and general academic aptitude, as well as inspire a lifelong love of reading.
We believe that one of the silver linings of the challenges we are currently facing is the heartwarming and absolutely unsurprising commitment made by authors, illustrators, teachers, librarians, and all other educators to make sure kids continue to not only have access to great books, but also great read alouds! We are proud of the way our school has reimagined read alouds to make the magic of reading happen!
