Choice 1-Mandatory for all students who have not completed Section I "Greece"- work to earn a SmartScore of 80 or better to complete all of Section I "Greece"
Choice 2- For all students who completed Section I, work to earn a SmartScore of 80 or greater in Section H "World Religions" This section will help to prepare you for learning in Seventh Grade in September.

To culminate our learning about Ancient Greece, you will discover and share your understanding about a god or goddess that the Greeks worshiped. Each god or goddess had power over a particular area of life. Choose one from the list provided to learn more about. The instructions to complete and present your project are included(2 pages). This work is to be completed by Wednesday, May 27th. You may use TCI(Lesson 29), Ducksters, World Book, Britannica, or any other source to learn about your god or goddess. Have fun choosing and learning!

The attached "Chapter 27 Notes Document" is complete for the Introduction and Sections 1-5 for Ancient Athens.
For each of the remaining sections for Chapter 27, Sparta, you will fill in your own notes as you read this week.
Write the main ideas for each section following the examples written for Athens and discussed in our Zoom classes on Monday, May 11th. All Notebook activities, including the Summary Section, should by complete by Monday, May 18th @ 8:00 a.m. You will earn a Formative Grade for this work.

Read Section 1 and complete the attached form. Submit your response by 4/21. The Notebook activities/questions for Section 1 will be due on Wednesday, 4/22.

Good Morning 6A/6B Social Studies I have posted grades in FACTS for Lesson 14 work completed on TCI (Notebook activities, Lesson 14 Game, Quiz) New assignments will be posted on Monday, 3/30. Chapter 25 will be our next learning chapter, Geography and the Settlement of Greece.  It is a short chapter with an Introduction and 4 Sections of learning. There will be a daily assignment for this chapter.   **I pray you are well and that you are sharing your unique gifts with your family at home.  Do something nice for your family that pleases God today!      I miss you!

Students should be finished with Lesson 14 (Unlocking the Secrets of Mohenjodaro) learning by 3/24.  Please complete all notebook sections (9) and the summary.  There will be a quiz for you to complete on Tuesday, 3/24.  This quiz will be on Google Classroom.  There will be a way to share the projects you have completed for your assigned section later next week.  TBD As we continue our learning in Social Studies, we will focus on learning about Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome in order to prepare for our "Walk Through the Ancient World" activity scheduled for June 8th.  More on that to come.
