At St. Francis, Physical Education is a year long course. The curriculum is designed to encourage vigorous activity, emphasize safety, and stimulate desirable social development. The focus of the class is on physical literacy and lifelong wellness. Three times a year, fall, winter and spring, students will take the FITNESSGRAM.  Students will receive a report after each test. This is an important tool for gauging each student’s current level of physical fitness.

October Activity Calendar

  • For full credit, write what activity you performed AND for how long you performed the activity. 
  • If you did not do anything that day, leave it blank. 
  • Try to be active three to four days a week. 
  • Activities can include, washing the car, cleaning your room, walking the dog, playing outside, etc.  Its not limited to sports or dance, but it MUST be after school or on the weekends. PE and recess do not count. 
Blank calendar templates are on Google Classroom.
 
Calendar must be turned in on Google Classroom.  NO PRINTED COPIES will be accepted. (except for 4th grade)
