About the Teacher

Hi! My name is Ms. Pigott and I am so happy to be a part of the St. Francis of Assisi community. I am even more excited to be your advanced math teacher and to get to know each one of you and your families this year! It’s going to be a great year full of math and adventures. Here is a little bit about me.

I grew up in Yorba Linda and attended Catholic school. I graduated from Rosary High School in 2004 and then went on to attend Whittier College where I received my BA in teaching and child development. Shortly after, I received my teaching credential and MA in Teaching at Chapman University. During the time I was working on my credential, I actually worked at St. Francis as an aide for 6B and then 2A for two years. I then went on to teach 6th-8th grade math at a Catholic school in Orange County for four years.

In my spare time I love to play tennis and attend Pure Barre classes.  My husband and I have two adorable miniature schnauzers, Norman and Penny. You can also always find me at Disneyland or attending as many Anaheim Ducks games as possible!

I can't wait to get to know each of you! Please feel free to contact me at any time throughout the school year.  The best way to contact me is by email and I will always respond within 24 hours.

Keep Calm and Love Math! =)
