Ways to Give

There are many ways to make a gift to support the Campaign for SFA.
 
Cash/Check/Credit Card
A gift of cash/check*/credit card is a simple and easy way for you to make a gift to SFA and you may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction.  Please complete the SFA Gift Form and mail or deliver your form and payment to:

Pledge
Pledges can be made for the Campaign for SFA, and billed monthly, quarterly or annually for the duration of the campaign, not to exceed three years.  Please complete the SFA Gift Form, indicating you are making a pledge, and mail or deliver your form to:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
A convenient way to make a gift to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School is through an Electronic Fund Transfer directly to SFA from a checking or savings account on a one-time or recurring basis.  If you would like to set up automatic payments or electronic funds transfer (EFT), please contact Amy-Jo Luna, Campaign Director, at ajluna@sfayl.org or 714.695.3700 x346
 
Corporate & Foundation Giving
The Campaign for SFA welcomes gifts from Corporations and Foundations interested in collaborating with SFA in fulfilling their community involvement and philanthropic objectives.  If interested, please contact Amy-Jo Luna, Campaign Director, at ajluna@sfayl.org or 714.695.3700 x346
 
IRA Charitable Rollover
A donor age 70 1/2 or older can transfer up to $100,000 from their IRA to a qualified charity, such as St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, each year.  A married couple who are both 70 1/2 or older at time of the transfer can each transfer $100,000 from their IRA's for a total of $200,000.
  • Your IRA administrator may take several weeks to process your request for a transfer of your distribution to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.  Please consult with your IRA plan administrator for instructions and deadlines.
  • Distributions from your IRA that are made out to you personally and not to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, will not count as an IRA Charitable Rollover.

Securities
A gift of your securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy way to make a gift.  By making a gift of your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due if you sold these assets.  For more information on giving a gift through securities, please contact Amy-Jo Luna, Campaign Director, at ajluna@sfayl.org or 714.695.3700 x 346.
 
Matching Gifts
  • Many employers offer a matching gift program to allow employees to maximize their charitable contribution to the charity of their choice.  Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your employer will match your contributions to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.
  • Turn your volunteer service hours into a monetary donation for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.  Many companies reward their employees in this manner for doing good in the community.  Check with your employer to see if your volunteer hours can make a difference.
  • You may also designate* your United Way contribution to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School through payroll deduction.  The St. Francis United Way code is: STF100.
 
*Designations of any kind (including those to the Campaign for SFA) may be made only for gifts over $250.
