Why SFA?

Nestled among the beautiful hills of Yorba Linda, California, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School has been a place of faith, learning, and community for more than two decades. Serving students from Preschool through Eighth Grade, we are dedicated to nurturing the unique gifts and talents of every child through a challenging academic program, enriching opportunities, and a strong foundation in Catholic values.

At St. Francis, education is about more than academic success—it is about forming the whole child. Guided by exceptional educators and inspired by the teachings of Christ, our students grow in faith, character, leadership, and service. The result is a vibrant community of learners and alumni who are compassionate, confident, and committed to excellence in all they do.

Today, our school family includes approximately 580 students from 365 families who come together to create a welcoming and supportive community centered on faith and shared purpose.

Our beautiful campus offers inspiring learning spaces designed to help students thrive. Facilities include 29 classrooms, an Innovation Center featuring a recording studio,  STEM labs, a library, an advanced math lab for upper and lower grades, a Student Learning Support Classroom, a multi-purpose center, and a peaceful outdoor amphitheater where students can gather, learn, and celebrate together.

We also provide extended care services for registered Preschool through Eighth Grade students, offering families the support and flexibility they need throughout the school day.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. By choosing Catholic education, you are investing in your child’s spiritual, academic, and personal growth while providing opportunities to develop the values, skills, and confidence needed for a successful future.

At St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, students are known, valued, and encouraged to become the people God created them to be and see the face of Jesus in everyone around them. In a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment, they are challenged to achieve academic excellence, grow as servant leaders, and prepare for success in high school, college, and beyond.
